The Bible Story of Creation

In the Bible: Genesis 1 & 2

Radiometric dating is the most commonly used method of discrediting young earth theorists. Many people don't realize that there are many flaws with ALL dating methods used. Check out this link for more information.

god creates light God wanted children to love and care for; who would love him back. He had power to do anything he wanted and decided to make his own children. But first, he had to make them a place to live.

In the very beginning, God created heaven, earth, and the universe.

My children will need water to drink, He thought. The plants I make will be made strong and healthy with water, and I will use it to protect my children from harmful rays from the sun.

The Bible Story of Creation fact:
Do not be fooled, God created the earth. It did not happen by chance. It takes just as much faith to believe that statement, than it does that we came from slime. The Theory of Evolution is every bit a "religion" as Christianity is.

God's spirit hovered over the waters of the earth as he prepared to create his children's home.

The Bible Story of Creation fact:
In the past, and to a certain extent today, scholars had a tendancy to understate the importance of biblical creation because they did not understand the science behind it. Rest assured, there is much scientific study and explanation behind much of the events in Genesis - including creation.

God spoke, "Let there be light," and light appeared all around him. He called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." That was the first day of creation.

The sun I will make to warm the earth and make the plants grow, will also hurt the plants and my children's skin. The earth will need protection from the sun, and they will also need air to breath. He said, "Let there be a sky with lots of air to breath. Let there also be water above the sky to protect the earth from the sun."

Teaching The Bible Story of Creation:
Note that God created LIGHT on day one. He did not create the sun on that day.

God hung the sky above the oceans, and put water in outer space around the earth. That was the second day of creation.

The Bible Story of Creation fact:
The Canopy Theory was first put forward about 130 years ago. The theory attempts to explain how water could have existed above the earth.

Next, God thought, My children will need a place to grow some food, and stay dry in. He said, "All the water under the sky, go to one place so dry ground will appear."

The Bible Story of Creation fact:
Water is an integral part of the physical well-being of the earth and its inhabitants. Ever wonder why water seems to be so important to God?

The waters obeyed Him. God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters He called, "seas."

Then He said, "My children will need all kinds of different food. I also want to give them a beautiful home. Let the land produce all kinds of plants with fruits and seeds."

All sorts of trees, plants, grass, and fruit and vegetables grew on the land. That was the third day.

God said, "Let there be lights in the sky. I will make the sun to shine during the day, and the moon and stars at night."

Teaching The Bible Story of Creation:
Note that God created plants before he created the sun...even though the sun is absolutely required for plant survival. Suppose he did this to fool the evolutionists?

He stretched a blanket of trillions of stars over the sky. The sun shone hot and bright on the earth, while the moon's rays lit up the night on the other side of the earth.

"I will arrange the stars in the sky so that when I create man, he will be able to use them to guide his travels, and to help him determine seasons, days, and years," He said.

god creates light So God made all the constellations, and set the motion of the planets and the sun all to guide us, his children. The fourth day of creation.

Teaching The Bible Story of Creation:
Some maintain that the original bible stories are told in the constellations...

On the next day, God said, "Let the water be filled with all kinds of fish, whales, and sharks, and let all kinds of birds fly across the sky over all the earth."

Immediately, all kinds of birds, fish, and whales, and sea creatures filled the waters and the skies. God looked around and said, "My children will have fun in this home. There are so many animals to play with and watch." That was the fifth day.

God looked around and was pleased with all he had created. He then said, "Let the land bring forth living creatures of all kinds like cows, pigs, horses, mountain lions, alligators, and huge dinosaurs." He creates all the animals from the dust on the ground.

The Bible Story of Creation fact:
Man and dinosaurs existed on the earth at the same time. Fossilized footprints of man and dinosaurs have been found side by side and one within the other.

God then said to himself, "Let us make man in our image. He shall rule over the entire earth, including all of the animals in the land, sea and air." So God created a man that looked like Him. He made the man out of dust and breathed into his nose the breath of life and called the man Adam.

adam in garden God then planted a garden and placed the man in it. He called it the Garden of Eden. No rain was needed to water the plants because God caused streams to bubble up from under the ground to water everything. God said Adam, "Your job is to take care of the animals, the vegetables and fruits, and all the plants."

The Bible Story of Creation fact:
Although not known for sure, according to some scholars, creation is thought to have occurred 4004 B.C. This can be calculated using the birth dates and geneology from Adam to Jesus.

After a while, God saw that Adam was lonely. There was nobody for Adam to talk to or work with.

He brought each kind of animal that He made for Adam and said, "Whatever you call each animal will be it's name." So Adam named all the animals, but there was still nobody good enough to keep Adam company.

So God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs. He used Adam's rib to make a woman. When Adam woke up, he said, "Because she was made from my rib, I will call her woman, for she was taken from a man."

god creates eve

The Bible Story of Creation fact:
Adam would have only had to name about 8000 animals. The variety of animals we see today is a result of genetic mutation. Mainly as a lingering result of exposure to the post-flood sun's harmful rays.

God saw that all his creation was good. He said to Adam and his wife, "Go explore the earth. Take care of it. Have enough babies to fill the earth!"

He continued, "Look after the animals and plants and enjoy them. I give you every plant with seeds in it to eat. Every fruit that has seeds in it is yours to eat. Every animal I've made; including birds, lions, tigers and dinosaurs are to eat the fruits, vegetables, and grass."

Teaching The Bible Story of Creation:
God made his children a perfect home to live in. No rain was needed as plants were watered from below ground. Adam and Eve did not need to build a home. Animals did not hunt them as everything ate plants, fruits and vegetables - including insects.

god creates light Then He pointed to a tree in the middle of the garden, "You may eat every fruit except the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If you eat of it, you shall surely die." There was evening and morning - the sixth day.

On the seventh day, God rested from all the work of creating. He set aside the seventh day for everybody to rest and to worship Him.

Many years later, he inspired Moses to write many stories, including the bible story of creation.
