How do I get to heaven (or "get saved")?

You've Got the Power!

teen girl and boyActs 2:17 - "In the last days", God says, "I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams."

God's spirit is poured out on all who accept Jesus as their savior.

Christian teens have an opportunity to experience God's power in an awesome way, through the outpouring of God's spirit.

When one pictures a Christian, they immediately think those people are very "religious" individuals, taught to be well-behaved, obedient "children of God". They believe the way to heaven is paved by good deeds (ie. Go to church...even if you sleep through it). Work hard and you will be rewarded. Screw up, and you'll be punished.

Lately though, society's insatiable thirst for answers has led to a gathering of a phenomenal amount of knowledge, and Christians can take advantage of that knowledge in a way that hasn't been available for a very long time.

While I'm sure God is glad when his children behave, what he really delights in is when his children take leaps of faith, allowing him to work His miracles.

You know, I can't recall one story from the Bible where God just performed a miracle without one of his children (Moses, Abraham, Noah, etc.) having to step out in faith first. Joshua and the Israelites are a perfect example of this concept, they had to march around the city before God did his thing.

As Christians, you have an opportunity to step out in faith, like many of these biblical heroes, and allow God to work miracles in your life.

Stepping out can be hard, especially with so much baggage holding you down. As I've said before, sometimes you just need a little help to get started.

This section of my website is dedicated to help teenagers use God's power to get through anything life throws at them.

Before we get started though, you must understand that the key to God's power is this: Believe His Word.

You MUST believe what you read in the Bible. Without faith in God's word, you will be powerless.

Let me help you use the knowledge I've gathered to get you started on your own journey.
